Overview

What is a refrigerated trailer? Also called a reefer truck or reefer trailer, it maintains specific temperature ranges during transport using active cooling equipment, unlike a trailer with passive insulation. The reefer trailer's structure is a fully enclosed, insulated box with active refrigeration equipment mounted at the front, maintaining temperatures from -25°C to +25°C throughout transit. It's offered in 48' and 53' lengths, each with its own load capacity and volume detailed in the table above. Loading and unloading happen through rear doors, and the insulated walls and floor keep the set temperature stable even during frequent stops.

What Can It Carry?

Typical cargo includes meat, dairy, frozen foods, beverages, berries, avocados, fresh produce, and certain pharmaceuticals. It's particularly valuable for food distribution, agriculture, retail, and temperature-controlled logistics. It's not recommended when temperature control is unnecessary, or for oversized machinery, steel products, or cargo requiring open loading areas.

Which Size Should You Choose?
